Small Business Highlight: Hoppy Biscuits

In collaboration with Storyhorse, Studio Sage developed a script, storyboard and production set to promote Hoppy Biscuits – a clean dog treat option that combines three passions: dogs, beer, and sustainability.
THE ASK
Studio Sage and Storyhorse partnered up to shoot the first installment of a larger series that tells the unheard stories of the creatives, innovators, and trailblazers that make up Chicago’s fabric. The goal of the series is to utilize the Sage space and both teams skills and expertise to provide a platform for local artists, creators, and storytellers to amplify their offerings. In our first video we feature Storyhorse’s own Claudia Reese and her spent beer grain dog biscuit company, Hoppy Biscuits.
THE PROCESS
In advance of filming, the Sage team performed all pre-production and planning for the shoot, solidifying content strategy, unifying onsite technical team and fully prepping on-screen talent. During filming, the Sage team utilized their professional work space to film long form videos, short video clips, and social media assets. Lastly, Studio Sage was responsible for all post-production needs, including voice over recordings, video editing, and the delivery and upload schedule.
THE RESULT
Sage’s expertise in curating and creating impactful content in all stages of video production allowed Storyhorse and Hoppy Biscuits to walk away with three unique content pieces. One of the videos, shared on Studio Sage’s social platforms, engaged with 366 unique accounts resulting in 400+ views.
